This is an absolutely fabulous place. I just love the city view from the 20th floor, and the old classic décor designed by Arne Jacobsen. He designed everything from furniture to cutlery just for this restaurant. He was hired by the director of Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Alberto Kappenberger, who the restaurant is named after. Before we even got to the starter, we were served 4 appetizers. Everything was outstanding. Beautifully served and the taste was impeccable. Including the appetizers we ended up with 9 amazing dishes. It’s not yet a Michelin restaurant. My guess is, that is didn’t get a star because, it’s not the most innovative restaurant. However the food is so great. The chef, Jeppe Foldager became no. at Bocuse d’Or (chefs World champion chip) in 2013. He cherish the Danish traditions and ingredients. If you ask me he is a magician in the kitchen. The wine card is equally amazing. They’ve got all you can possibly desire on the list.
The place is pricy. But it’s an absolutely top quality restaurant on par with 1-starred Michelin restaurants.
