Restaurant CLOU
CLOU got its first Michelin star in March 2014. We visited the restaurant just a few weeks later, and now we understand why. We celebrated my birthday in here, so we had a 7 course meal paired with wine. It was hands down one of the most innovative restaurants I have ever tried. Everything we had was a challenging experience in the best possible way. The food was outstanding and the pairing was exciting and risqué. Even the wines surprised me. One example is the 3rd course we had - whole squids and stuffed squids with chicken served with sherry.
You need to book the table at least a month in advance. Maybe more now they have a star. There are only a few tables, and there's a lot of attention to all the guests. The waiters are very professional, but at the same time they had a great sense of humor and didn't take themselves too seriously. We had a great evening laughing, dining and wining. It's an expensive restaurant, but it's a "must try".
