Fuego
Fuego is an
Argentine restaurant in the center of Copenhagen, near Kgs. Nytorv. The waiters
are all Argentine, and none of them speak Danish. It adds to the authentic
atmosphere that the staff comes from the country the food represents. The music
and the food is very much what I expected. The steaks are super tender and tasty,
the staff kind and helpful and the décor unpretentious. The music are kind of loud,
but it works well for this place. There are quite many tourists that are
visiting the restaurant, but since the waiters only speak Spanish or English it
doesn’t matter. The wines are not so powerful, they are easy going like most
wines from South America, but they work well with the meat dishes. Prices are very
fair and the staff are extremely flexible, when it comes to taking allergies
into consideration. The night included an Italian wedding party were a photographer
took like a thousand pictures that must have looked exactly the same, and a Swedish
party were they found themselves hysterically funny using the napkins for a
Rambo costume, joggling with a vase and playing some sort of hide and seek in
the other guests jackets.
