Ristorante Veneto
It's a small restaurant placed in a cozy little side street to Østerbrogade. It has got all the potential in the world to be a success. Here is why it's not. We already had our fears, when we were the only ones in the restaurant, apart from a couple who looked dreary and left immediately after we arrived. It sort of went downhill from here. The waiter knew nothing. He didn't know the "fish of the day", "dish of the day", "wine of the month" or which dishes there were cream in. So after a loooong time, we finally got our meals, and mine were soaked in cream, although the description mentioned nothing about cream, but all the other meals were described as meals containing cream. I'm lactose intolerant, so I thought they could at least find out for me. But I found out, that neither the waiter nor the "chef" knew anything about the ingredients, as all meals/sauces etc. were pre-made. They therefore couldn't adjust any meals at all. When I finally and reluctantly got another meal, I could eat, my boyfriend were almost finished with his course. The taste was....not present, and it was a total disappointment all together. It looked so cozy from the outside. Come on friends. Do something. Learn something. It could be so great. But it's not. We were just glad not to get food poisoning. You should think, it would be cheap then, but it is not that either. Skip this one.
