Restaurant Amalie
I have pretty much copy/pasted the text from Café Toldboden. Same concept. And it works so well. This is a cozy and granny-like lunch restaurant, where they serve traditionally Danish dark bread with cold cuts. It's well made and homemade. The atmosphere is very old fashioned. The service is kind and casual. All kinds of people comes here. Rich and poor. For business or pleasure. Quite many tourists finds their way to this place, as it's located right next to Amalienborg Castle, where the royal family live. It’s very Danish. Even though the tourists often stops by, many locals also comes here on a regular basis. They have a huge Snaps (Danish shot) card.
