The same people behind Cofoco opened this restaurant. The food is South American. The food alone is probably a score 7. Nothing wrong with it, but it’s very simple and there is a lot of meat. I’m a girl. I like a little something on the side. But the few things on the plate are very tasteful. But what really gives this place a great score is the atmosphere. They are playing 80ies and 90ies music in the entire restaurant. Early in the evening the music is balanced. In the late hours it is loud and the place oozes with life and good mood. The waiters are also a plus. They were taking time to discuss the wine card and give their recommendation of wine to match the dinner. The location is also great. Right in the middle of Copenhagen and very close to the metro or a bus. There were a larger crowd of women sitting in the restaurant, the night we were in here. All of a sudden they all started dancing around to the music. I love that. It’s so liberating to see the great mood spread to every corner of the restaurant. Even the waiters were making some moves now and then. It’s a good place to eat, if you’re going to enjoy the Copenhagen night life later. Prices are fair and I’m absolutely coming back.
